Job summary

WelbeHealth, LLC. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cloud‑native engineering team delivering production‑grade solutions on Azure using .NET and microservices.

You will own the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, architecture, product, and infrastructure teams to align technical outcomes with healthcare priorities. You will drive AI‑assisted coding adoption, embed DevSecOps by design, ensure HIPAA and PHI/PII safe practices, and manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of object‑oriented software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Deep Azure cloud experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Cosmos DB.
• Experience designing and delivering microservices at scale.
• Strong DevSecOps principles with security built into code, CI/CD, and cloud from the start.
• Automated testing discipline and REST API design across data sources.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted engineering tools and LLM‑based tooling.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with rapid POC delivery; Camunda experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design components, write high‑quality code, troubleshoot complex issues, and own the team’s technical roadmap.
• Build scalable, cloud‑native solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack.
• Drive adoption of AI‑assisted coding and define secure code review standards.
• Own engineering practices for AI‑backed features including data context and logging, PHI‑safe prompting.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security and other teams on integration strategies.
• Translate complex designs for non‑technical stakeholders and align with business priorities.
• Ensure development aligns with HIPAA and healthcare interoperability requirements.
• Implement secure software design patterns, RBAC, data governance, encryption, and cloud controls.
• Manage hiring, training, mentoring, and removing barriers to meet goals.
