Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Manager, Application Development (Data Engineering) to lead a small team of three to five engineers. You will own technical direction for application platforms, APIs, and data integrations, while contributing hands-on design and delivery to support data-driven operations.

You will collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and corporate stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, and guide architecture for secure, maintainable, and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and substantial software leadership experience.
• 7+ years in enterprise software development with 3+ years mentoring teams.
• Experience designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise application platforms and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and security/compliance in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of application and data engineers.
• Define objectives, manage resources, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide technical direction on architecture and platform design.
• Own integration patterns and API delivery across systems.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Promote DevOps practices, security, and HIPAA-compliant governance.
