Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced maintenance leader for a large refrigerated warehouse facility. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, plan work schedules, and drive preventive programs to ensure reliable equipment and safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse maintenance management, a high school diploma or GED, RETA course completion, HAZMAT certification, and Americold’s MCM program within six months. Strong SAP/Excel skills and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience.
High School diploma or GED required.
Completion of all eight RETA courses required.
HAZMAT certification required.
Successful completion of the Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance activities for machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems in a refrigerated warehouse.
Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance staff to ensure productivity.
Develop, implement, and adjust preventive maintenance programs and review reports.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and municipal/state codes.
Collaborate on budget planning and long-term facility improvements.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and enforce safety policies.
