Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Engineering leader to manage plant capital projects, maintenance and engineering resources across the manufacturing floor. You will drive safety, reliability and cost improvements while coordinating across maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

The role requires a strong background in industrial engineering, 7+ years in related fields, and supervision experience. Candidates should be proficient in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD and related tools.

Qualifications

• Education: BS Engineering required.
• 7+ years related Engineering/manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• MS Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership and implementation of policies with EHS Manager.
• Interface between maintenance, manufacturing, contractors and engineering.
• Develop performance targets and KPI monitoring for staff.
• Educate contractors on company policies and procedures.
• Develop capital budgets and initiate capital projects.
• Coordinate solutions to improve machines, equipment, and facility.
• Develop specifications for production equipment and oversee installation.
• Maintain capital project cost tracking and schedules.
• Lead PM Pillar to improve equipment reliability.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
