Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Plant Engineering & Maintenance Leader to manage capital projects and coordinate maintenance across the plant. You will drive safety, efficiency, and cost reductions by interfacing with maintenance, manufacturing, contractors, and engineering to improve equipment reliability and process performance.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with 7+ years in engineering/manufacturing and at least 3 years of supervision, plus strong skills in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering required with 7+ years in engineering/manufacturing.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office and MS Project; AutoCAD or equivalents.
• Industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as safety leader and prioritizes safety in all responsibilities.
• Interface between maintenance, manufacturing, contractors, and engineering.
• Prepares plant capital budget and initiates capital projects.
• Drives equipment reliability and PM initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Monitors spare parts and supports just-in-time inventory.
• Ensures energy savings and safe operations across the plant.
