Job summary

Amcor is seeking a seasoned Engineer to lead plant engineering and maintenance activities in our Wisconsin facility. You will manage capital projects, coordinate with internal teams and contractors, and drive equipment reliability while reducing costs and waste.

With a BS in Engineering and 7+ years in engineering/manufacturing, plus 3+ years supervising staff, you will influence safety and operational excellence across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• At least 7 years in engineering/manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD or equivalents.
• Experience with industrial mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance resources to support plant operations.
• Plan and initiate capital projects with engineering estimates and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with contractors, manufacturing and maintenance teams.
• Develop equipment specifications and oversee procurement and installation.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce waste through PM programs.
• Manage spare parts and ensure just-in-time inventory.
• Monitor and report quarterly capex expenditures.
• Drive energy-saving initiatives and safety compliance.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to EH&S policies.
• Align with Bemis Core Values and drive high performance.
