This senior role owns architecture decisions, hiring strategy and the engineering culture we want to scale, partnering closely with our CTO and CEO to translate roadmaps into reality and drive engineering excellence as adoption grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership.
• Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
• Strong architectural judgment with hands-on production shipping.
• Experience translating product goals into technical plans.
• Commitment to reliability, security, and developer velocity.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead through ambiguity.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy, architecture direction, and execution plan with CTO and CEO.
• Lead, hire, and grow an exceptional engineering team and culture.
• Own delivery of the engineering roadmap with on-time, high-quality outputs.
• Uphold best practices for code quality, testing, reliability, security, and incident response.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure excellent execution and user experience.
• Establish metrics for planning, estimation, on-call, and technical debt management.
• Drive continuous improvement of platform performance and scalability.
