Payabli is seeking an Engineering Lead for PayIn to own how money comes into the platform. You will lead a mature, high-performing backend team responsible for payment APIs, recurring billing, host pages, wallets, and post-payment processes across multiple processors and networks.

• 10+ years building and operating production backend systems.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams responsible for business-critical services.
• Payments experience is required. You've built or led systems in payment acceptance, gateways, acquiring, or funding.

Responsabilidades

• Build a high-performing team. Hire, develop, and retain engineers who own their systems end to end.
• Deliver at pace, predictably. Partner with Product to turn roadmap into commitments.
• Scale payment acceptance. Maintain APIs, invoicing, wallets, and checkout as volume grows.
• Make funding a priority. Oversee batching, transfers, and reconciliation.
• Keep integrations production-grade with dependable test mirrors.
• Ship fast and safe with an engineering culture balancing speed and safety.
• Run on clear signals with defined SLOs and observability.
• Scale knowledge with docs, runbooks, and on-call practices.
• Build intelligence into the flow with AI-enabled risk scoring and workflows.
