Job summary

Payabli is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead post-sales integration projects for software partners and to drive AI-first, scalable payment operations. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Account Management, and Operations to deliver error-free launches and ongoing support.

Deep product and API knowledge will be essential to design, solution, and implement cutting-edge fintech integrations. You will act as a product expert, mentor junior team members, and influence

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related roles in payments/fintech.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical solutions for software partners.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns.
• Experience with payment processing concepts: tokenization, PCI, and transaction flows.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or similar.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, curl) and debugging.
• Understanding of payment industry fundamentals (acquiring, issuing, card networks, ACH) and PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Create and manage integration plans for software partners.
• Design tailored integration project plans that align with partner expectations.
• Operate in an AI-first mindset to improve integration processes.
• Track projects logs, KPIs, and drive constant improvement.
• Collaborate with Account Manager on partner launch and GTM success.
• Transfer integration plans into production reference documentation for partners and support teams.
• Be the glue role connecting Operations, Success, Risk, Product and Engineering.
