Payabli in Miami seeks an Engineering Lead, PayIn to own how money enters Payabli. You’ll lead a senior team building payment APIs, funding, and reconciliation, partnering with product and risk teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems for multiple processors and networks.

You’ll shape engineering culture, set clear expectations, build observability, and drive fast, safe delivery while mentoring engineers across time zones. Payments expertise required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production backend systems with leadership experience.
• Payments experience: built or led systems in payment acceptance, gateways, or funding.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing, distributed engineering team.
• Deliver at pace with roadmap commitments and clear tradeoffs.
• Scale payment acceptance APIs, invoicing, wallets, and related services.
