Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Engineering Knowledge Manager to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia, delivering engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of products and services to support our client's global missions.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing by defining, supporting, and encouraging the use of knowledge among clients and program personnel of all skill levels.
• Ensuring knowledge technologies are maintained current and functional per requirements.
• Providing in-depth knowledge of specific products or knowledge management applications and interface technologies.
• Assessing operational and technical baselines using technical competencies.
• Utilizing knowledge management tools such as Portal Technologies, Database Technologies, Operating Systems, and Programming Languages.
• Collaborating with IT professionals to advise senior management on knowledge management strategies and products.
• Developing standards and best practices for knowledge management techniques and applications.
• Identifying technical deficiencies affecting knowledge management goals and proposing strategies for improvement.
• Participating in technical assessments and reviews for knowledge management implementations.
• Providing guidance, training, and support to stakeholders in utilizing knowledge management tools.
• Conducting activities related to content analysis, document management, data capture, portals, workflows, collaboration, data warehousing, and decision support.
• Planning enterprise modernization strategies, architecture, and methodologies.
• Overseeing the selection, implementation, and measurement of enterprise solutions.
• Ensuring complete integration of applications with target data and processes.
• Travel up to 10% within the National Capital Region as needed.

Note: Position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics, with at least six years of relevant experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in knowledge management processes such as content analysis, document management, data capture, portals, workflows, collaboration, data warehousing, decision support, and information dissemination.
• Experience in enterprise modernization planning, solution selection, and integration.
• Significant experience with knowledge management products and tools.
• Prior experience with the customer mission, programs, and processes is preferred.

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly. US Citizenship required.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000, based on experience and other factors.
