Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Engineering Knowledge Manager to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions.

  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing through defining, supporting, and encouraging the use of knowledge to clients and program personnel of all skills and levels.
  • Ensure that knowledge technologies are maintained current and functional, per requirements.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of specific products or families of knowledge management applications, products, and interface technologies.
  • Utilize technical competencies to assess operational and technical baselines related to knowledge management.
  • Work with IT professionals to advise senior management on knowledge management strategies and products.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and best practices for knowledge management.
  • Identify and address technical deficiencies impacting knowledge management goals.
  • Develop strategies to enhance knowledge management operations and improve productivity.
  • Participate in technical assessments to validate approaches and work products.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders in knowledge management utilization.
  • Conduct activities such as content analysis, document management, data capture, portals, workflow, collaboration, data warehousing, and decision support.
  • Plan enterprise modernization strategies, including architecture and methodology.
  • Oversee selection, implementation, and measurement of enterprise solutions.
  • Ensure full integration of applications with data and processes.
  • Travel up to 10% within the NCR as needed.

Note: Position contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

Desired:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics with at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in knowledge management processes, including content analysis, document management, data capture, portals, workflow, collaboration, data warehousing, decision support, and information dissemination.
  • Experience in enterprise modernization planning, solution selection, implementation, and integration.
  • Significant experience with knowledge management tools such as portal technologies, databases, operating systems, and programming languages.
  • Prior experience with customer missions, programs, and processes.

Security Clearance: Must have active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain CI Poly. US Citizenship required.
