Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Science, Packaging Science, Environmental, Civil).
• Anticipated graduation between Winter 2027 and Spring 2029 (rising Juniors/Seniors).
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills with basic understanding of control concepts, sensors, motors, PLCs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Willingness to complete a 12‑week internship between May and August 2027 and relocate for the Summer 2027 internship.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and implementation of control systems, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, and AI/ML for process control.
• Apply mechanical engineering mastery to develop innovative equipment from modeling to prototyping.
• Assist in refining technologies for material conversion and high‑speed packaging projects.
• Collaborate with R&D to scale up innovative processes and optimize production lines.
• Support design and maintenance of precision instrumentation and metrology systems.
