Job summary

Mission Technologies (a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries) – Warfare Systems is seeking an Engineering Intern with solid knowledge of electrical, computer science or embedded systems. The internship offers exposure to radar components, RF systems, and subsystem modeling under senior mentorship.

You’ll contribute across electronics, electrical, mechanical, naval and related disciplines, with opportunities to troubleshoot and learn in a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Interest in assembling and disassembling hardware systems, equipment and components.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of electrical/computer/mechanical engineering or embedded systems.
  • CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Intern will support Engineering team with functions in electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, or chemical engineering.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Collaborate with mentor and senior leadership on meaningful projects.
