SRC, Inc. is seeking Engineering Interns for summer 2027 to work onsite in Syracuse, NY, dedicating 40 hours per week.

You’ll contribute to radar and electronic warfare product design, development, implementation, and testing across multiple engineering tracks, collaborating with senior engineers to deliver innovative solutions aligned with project goals. Opportunities span Systems, Embedded, Digital Hardware, Mechanical, RF, Software, Machine Intelligence, Integration & Test Engineering.

Qualifications

• Two years of college completed and current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• GPA of 3.3 or higher; unofficial transcripts allowed
• Strong understanding of core engineering concepts and design, testing, and debugging techniques
• Comfort with industry tools and methodologies and ability to collaborate in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in system-level design and architecture for complex projects
• Support development, integration, validation, and troubleshooting in labs and field environments
• Document technical specifications and system requirements
• Model, simulate, and analyze system performance using MATLAB, Python, and other tools
• Develop firmware and hardware test plans and CI/CD workflows
• Contribute to digital hardware, RF, and software engineering efforts as assigned
