Job summary

SRC, Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician Intern to work onsite in Syracuse, NY, 40 hours per week. You will contribute to design, development, implementation and testing of radar and electronic warfare products, collaborating with senior engineers and technicians to craft innovative solutions.

Qualifications include enrollment in an electronics-focused program and a 3.3+ GPA, plus hands-on lab experience and ability to work in teams with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an associate degree or ongoing bachelor’s in a relevant field.
• GPA a minimum 3.3; transcripts required.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to apply design, testing and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and prototyping tasks (cable fabrication, assembly, testing).
• Identify and set up test equipment and perform tests and troubleshooting.
• Work hands-on in an electronic lab with soldering and assembly.
• Troubleshoot and repair RF/radar systems using lab test gear.
• Set up test fixtures and run tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
