Job summary

HII – Mission Technologies, Warfare Systems (WS), invites Engineering Interns for 2026 to assist with design and analysis of embedded systems at ISR heart. You will work on microcontrollers, FPGAs, SoCs, and MPSoCs, contributing across R&D and product development.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical disciplines, with hands-on experience in PCBAs, schematics, and tests.

Qualifications

• Engineering Intern 2–4: working towards a Bachelor's degree with varying credits completed.
• Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout and design verification testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with high-speed serial links and mixed-signal design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, development, and testing of complex electrical (digital, power, RF and analog) products or systems.
• Conduct prototype development activities to ensure specs and milestones are met.
• Documentation of designs for internal use and cross-functional teams.
• Collaboration with other engineering disciplines on system and board level details.
• Hands-on system and board level integration and testing; draft test plans and procedures.
