Job summary

IERUS Technologies invites applications for a year-round Engineering Internship at our Huntsville, AL location. The role provides exposure to Radar Systems, Aerospace Systems, Avionics, Modeling and Simulation, Antenna Design and Analysis, and Software Development across defense and commercial projects.

Interns will perform diverse engineering tasks, including lab prototyping, testing, documentation, and fixture design, while learning DoD contract processes and contributing to ongoing programs.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
• Copy of current transcript must be attached when completing application (official transcript is not required).
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Science in one of the listed engineering/technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Lab prototyping and testing with hardware and test software.
• Document test results and ensure compliance with defense industry standards.
• Design fixtures and perform other project engineering tasks.
• Learn the DoD contract process and help execute ongoing programs in various lifecycle stages.
