Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work in teams.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Able to work independently, take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Currently pursuing an Industrial Engineering degree or related field, junior/senior preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across departments to learn hands-on engineering technologies.
• Complete and analyze time and motion studies.
• Document and report changes; suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve and sustain processes.
• Create, review, and update process flow layouts.
• Work with team on process-improvement initiatives and projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process, quality, and safety improvements.
• Present and report on an improvement project at internship end.
