Job summary

Headway in New York City is seeking an exceptional HR Business Partner to support our growing Engineering organization. This in-person role is based in NYC and requires 2 days on-site per week.

You'll shape people strategy, programs, and policies to scale the org, coach managers, and drive data-driven decisions with Center of Excellence partners across Total Rewards, People Ops, Legal, and Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in HRBP or HR-generalist roles supporting senior leaders.
• Data-driven with experience using qualitative and quantitative signals.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into people plans.
• Lead performance management and talent reviews with rigor.
• Advise on organizational design and leadership development.
