Job summary

Betterment in New York City is seeking an HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business priorities. You’ll collaborate with leaders to build scalable teams, provide consultation to designated business units, and support employees across the organization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience across multiple client groups.
• Translates business priorities into actionable HR strategies.
• Bias toward action in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with clear, frequent communication.
• Experience partnering with Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advise and partner with leaders on organization planning, compensation reviews, talent management, employee relations, career development, and other people-strategy items.
• Act as a resource and advisor to employees, fostering trust through clear HR policies and lifecycle support.
• Partner with Recruiting to drive effective hiring across supported teams.
• Collaborate with the broader People team on talent development, benefits and other programs.
• Serve as a strategic partner in executing People initiatives and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
