Job summary

Kelco Industries is seeking a Technical Customer Solutions Specialist to be the main contact for customers, coordinating quotes and order fulfillment while interfacing with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Logistics. You will review drawings, specifications, and ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Two to five years of inside sales, account support, customer service, or order management in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with industrial fasteners or related products strongly preferred.
• Experience reviewing customer drawings, specs or engineering docs preferred.
• ERP/business systems and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers via phone and email.
• Review RFQs, customer drawings, engineering specs, and other requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations using pricing guidelines and margins.
• Enter orders, verify part numbers, materials, quantities, pricing, tolerances, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering on specs, capabilities, and requirements.
• Work with Purchasing and Production on material availability, capacity, lead times, and delivery dates.
• Monitor open orders and provide timely production/delivery updates.
• Identify and resolve order, pricing, billing, scheduling, and delivery discrepancies.
• Follow up on quotations and inquiries to support opportunities and relationships.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy against quoted requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer profiles, quotations, orders, and historical records.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
