Job summary
TSC's Product Solutions Division in Huntsville, AL seeks a Director of Engineering to lead multi-disciplinary teams across RF payloads and sensor systems through the full product lifecycle. This senior role emphasizes process improvement, AS9100/ISO9001 alignment, and strategic staffing to deliver complex DoD programs.
You will collaborate with product owners, engineering staff, and production to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions, ensure on-time delivery, and foster career growth
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering and minimum 15 years of experience in DoD industry.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams (5+ yrs).
- Experience delivering products to USG/US allies and working within AS9100/ISO9001 structures.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement engineering development processes following industry standards such as AS9100.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to build complete solutions across product lines.
- Develop staffing plans to support product business.
- Collaborate with product owners to assess feasibility, schedule, and cost for roadmaps.
- Provide resources to implement roadmap features and transition technology to production.
- Oversight of engineering efforts and career growth for staff.
- De-conflict resources across leadership and engineering teams.
