Job summary

Technology Service Corporation Defense Services in Huntsville, AL seeks an Integrated Product Team Lead/Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams developing RF sensor systems for precision weapons and electronic warfare domains.

You will oversee design, test, and production transition, capture system requirements and coordinate with program management and customers to meet mission objectives. Requires 15+ years, BS in engineering, DoD clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in an engineering discipline or applied science.
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience.
• Experience with hardware development projects and radar/EW product development.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, test, and production transition of RF sensor products.
• Capture and document system requirements, current products and technologies, and industry solutions to help architect solutions.
• Collaborate with Program Management to scope and schedule work, manage risks, and provide technical leadership.
• Support customer engagement to solve mission challenges and assess technical feasibility and risks.
• Work with a multi-discipline team to build complete solutions and products.
• Mentor junior team members and support test and debug activities.
• Manage development tasking and schedule for the overall system and subsystems.
• Develop production level requirements to ensure manufacturability and sustainability.
• Support Engineering Management by improving best practices processes.
• Analyze measured data from laboratory and field tests and compare to expected performance.
• Lead by example in applying systems engineering processes.
