Job summary

Brooksource seeks a technically grounded Design Project Manager to guide engineering work after contract award, bridging design and project execution for complex cooling infrastructure and manufactured systems. You will coordinate engineers and designers across disciplines, manage schedules and deliverables, and ensure designs advance through reviews into manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering design, technical project coordination, cooling systems, power generation, or a related engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize competing tasks and follow deliverables through completion.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills, including managing engineering schedules, documentation, deadlines, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design execution across post-award projects, coordinating internal and external technical resources.
• Build and maintain engineering schedules, milestones, resource plans, and deliverable trackers across concurrent projects.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, structural, and design contributors; clarify priorities, communicate requirements, and remove roadblocks.
