Job summary

Stellar Energy is seeking a Design Project Manager to lead the engineering department in designing, developing, and improving our cooling solutions. You will direct project execution, manage design reviews, and coordinate resources for multiple Stellar Energy products.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 3–5 years in power/cooling design, and strong communication skills. This on-site position is based in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX and follows a standard M–F schedule with some overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
• 3-5 years of experience in power generation design, cooling system design, or similar design project work.
• Familiar with ASME B31, NEC, ASHRAE, AHRI, CTI, HI, and various building codes.
• Familiar with selection and technical requirements of general mechanical equipment including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage engineering and design activities for project execution and product development.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and oversee daily workflow.
• Provide timely performance evaluations and ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
• Facilitate clear communication with clients and engineers on specifications and costs.
• Lead NPI gates reviews (PDR, CDR, DDR) and ensure design reviews meet KPIs.
