Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to serve as the go-to technical expert for advanced cooling and HVAC systems in mission-critical environments. You will mentor engineers, drive design standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EPC, design-build, and consulting settings.

The role focuses on innovative thermal management, operational resilience, and scalable design approaches for large-scale projects in industrial and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• Extensive experience designing complex mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical direction of advanced cooling and HVAC systems for mission-critical environments.
• Develop engineering standards, best practices, and scalable design approaches across major projects.
• Drive innovative cooling solutions including chilled water, air-cooled, and liquid cooling applications.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, and construction teams to deliver integrated infrastructure.
• Optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and resiliency through design.
• Present technical solutions to clients and guide project strategy.
• Evaluate vendors and emerging technologies for best-in-class solutions.
• Lead design reviews, commissioning strategies, and technical quality initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to growth of the technical team.
