Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multi-discipline projects from design through closeout, including procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning for data center and mission-critical facilities.

You will coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, vendors, contractors, and customers, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while guiding teams to successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or complex engineered systems.
  • Experience managing large, technically complex projects from engineering through final delivery.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or MEP systems.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, contracts, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and field teams.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from kickoff through engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and key project stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and field activities.
  • Manage projects involving mission-critical mechanical and cooling infrastructure.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, submittals, technical requirements, and customer documentation.
  • Monitor equipment fabrication and manufacturing progress against project schedules.
  • Manage procurement and track long-lead equipment and materials.
  • Identify project risks, schedule impacts, and potential cost issues early and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead internal and customer project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Manage change orders, scope changes, commercial issues, and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.
  • Support equipment delivery, installation, startup, commissioning, and functional testing.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable quality standards, customer specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee project documentation, turnover packages, punch lists, and final closeout.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project team members as needed.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate has experience managing data center, mission-critical, mechanical, power generation, or large engineered equipment projects and is comfortable coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, vendors, contractors, and customers.

  • Data center or mission-critical project experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with chilled-water systems, modular chiller plants, heat exchangers, cooling systems, or other mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with large fabricated or engineered-to-order equipment.
  • Knowledge of equipment manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and QA/QC.
  • Experience with commissioning and functional performance testing.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination and MEP construction.
  • Experience with ASME, API, ISO, or similar industrial standards.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
