Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering design, technical project coordination, cooling systems, power generation, or a related engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize competing tasks and follow deliverables through completion.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills, including managing engineering schedules, documentation, deadlines, and cross-functional communication.

We are seeking a technically grounded Design Project Manager to guide engineering work after contract award, bridging design and project execution for complex cooling infrastructure and manufactured systems. You will coordinate engineers and designers across disciplines, manage engineering schedules and deliverables, and ensure designs advance through reviews into manufacturing. This is a project leadership role without direct people-management responsibility, offering opportunities to shape workflows in a rapidly growing engineering organization.

• Build and maintain engineering schedules, milestones, resource plans, and deliverable trackers across concurrent projects.


• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, structural, and design contributors; clarify priorities, communicate requirements, and remove roadblocks.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering.


• 3-5 years of experience in engineering design, technical project coordination, cooling systems, power generation, or a related engineering environment.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D CAD modeling tools, along with familiarity with design reviews, BOMs, and engineering change processes.


• Experience in manufacturing or product development environments, with knowledge of mechanical equipment, applicable engineering codes and standards, and engineering design review processes.
