Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student to design and develop automation and electrical control systems for client plants. You will interface with process lines, sensors and manufacturing equipment, and work under the guidance of experienced engineers and developers.

This hands-on role offers exposure to DCS, PLCs, databases, and reporting, with opportunities to lead a team in the future. Travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning and testing is part of the program, and strong

Qualifications

• Full-time student status
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, Control Systems, or related technical field
• Passionate about solving problems and developing solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems that interface with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors
• Architect solutions using the appropriate technologies from database to AI to User Interface tools
• Provide our clients with real time, actionable information reports about their process
• Develop quality code in accordance with established RoviSys and client standards
• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients
• Travel to customer sites for planning meetings, commissioning and testing
• Grow into position leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide automation and information solutions
