Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test Aerospace valves.
  • Assist in daily production process execution, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Collect, analyze, and report production data (efficiency, yield, downtime, scrap).
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.
  • Document SOPs, work instructions, and process flows.
  • Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen projects.

This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment while developing technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test Aerospace valves
  • Assist in executing, monitoring, and improving daily production processes
  • Collect, analyze, and report production data (efficiency, yield, downtime, scrap)
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and process‑related issues
  • Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Work closely with technician, quality, and senior engineers
  • Support new product or process introductions under supervision
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Participate in training sessions and on‑the‑job learning activities
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)
  • Internship, co‑op, or project experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and production processes
  • Strong willingness to learn and work in hands‑on production settings
  • Good analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, ERP systems, or basic automation concepts
  • Basic knowledge of quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on the shop floor
Training & Development
  • On‑the‑job training with experienced engineers and supervisors
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, processes, and production systems
  • Opportunities to earn Lean or Six Sigma certification
  • Gradual increase in responsibility with performance and experience
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing or production facility
  • Combination of office work and shop‑floor presence
  • May involve standing for extended periods and wearing PPE
