Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Walnut Creek is seeking a role in Engage Life to enhance residents' lives through engaging activities and events. You will plan and lead a variety of programs, coordinate with staff and volunteers, and help create a vibrant community.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills. This full-time, on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Able to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Engage Life programs and activities to enhance residents' lives.
• Offers diversified recreational activities with supervision for each activity.
• Develops programs including for residents confined to their rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate in activities.
• Maintains current schedule of events and informs residents of upcoming activities.
