Atria Senior Living in Sunnyvale is hiring an Engage Life Program Instructor to lead resident engagement activities, coordinate Engage Life programs, and foster a vibrant community environment. You’ll design inclusive activities and support special events, with attention to safety and participant enjoyment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Able to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads Engage Life programs and ensures activities align with residents' interests.
• Plans and offers diversified recreational activities with appropriate supervision.
• Develops programs for residents, including those confined to their rooms.
• Encourages resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Keeps residents informed of upcoming activities and maintains a current events calendar.
• Greet and include new residents; support community events and seasonal decorations.
• Assist in planning parties and activities; support census-building initiatives.
