The South Carolina Department of Corrections is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to manage the energy cap utility accounting program, including data entry, maintenance, and budgeting. You will generate reports, target wasteful facilities, and streamline energy accounting processes.

You will also liaise with the state energy office, handle billing data, and support facilities maintenance while ensuring compliance with SC codes. A required four-week basic training is provided upon hire.

Competenze

• State of South Carolina minimum: high school diploma with relevant experience or a bachelor's degree may substitute for required work experience.
• SCDC minimum: high school diploma and 5 years’ experience in utility accounting/energy management/facilities operations or related field.
• Must have experience with large datasets, spreadsheets, and electronic databases.
• Asbestos supervisor certifications must be obtained within six months of employment.

Mansioni

• Manage and maintain energy cap utility accounting program: data entry, maintenance, upgrading, graphs and reports, budgeting.
• Serve as SCDC liaison to state energy office; supply information and reports on energy savings, projects, and cost reductions per SC code and bills.
• Assist in overseeing preventative maintenance care and security equipment at Facilities Management.
• Identify and resolve system or equipment issues.
• Must complete four weeks of SCDC Basic Training on hire.
