Job summary

MasTec Power Delivery is seeking a Director of Technical Training to lead the development and continuous improvement of training programs across Electric Transmission, Distribution, and Substation operations. You will establish standardized qualification, onboarding, and refresher initiatives to ensure safety, competence, and operational excellence.

The role requires deep ET&D knowledge, strong instructional design, and the ability to collaborate with Operations, Safety, and HR to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 15+ years in ET&D.
15+ years of ET&D experience with training leadership.
Experience developing curriculum, qualification programs, and competency management.
Strong communication and program management skills.
Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of a technical training strategy for ET&D operations.
Oversee onboarding, qualification, and refresher programs for field personnel.
Develop curricula, modules, assessments, and digital content.
Manage training operations, facilities, and analytics.
Partner with Operations and HR to align training with business goals.
Report workforce metrics and drive continuous improvement.
