Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an on-site Residential Energy Efficiency Installer to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. You will install energy efficiency upgrades, conduct pre- and post-install verifications, and gather technical data within a defined territory, supporting program staff and clients.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant tech experience, a high school or associate degree (BPI certification preferred), and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in installing energy efficiency upgrades.
  • High school or Associate's degree; relevant industry certification preferred; BPI certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel within defined territory.

Responsibilities

  • 25% Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
  • 20% Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • 25% Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
  • 25% Travel throughout a defined territory
  • 5% Misc.

Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support program staff and clients in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

1-3 Years High school or Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred. Preferred to be BPI Certified

Compensation Range $18.80 - $28.30 Currency USD Type Hourly

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
