Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring a Residential Field Specialist to cover Southern New Jersey. You will install energy efficient equipment, perform energy audits and verifications, and gather field data in a defined territory. You’ll support Account Managers to influence stakeholders on energy efficiency projects.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in energy auditing, a high school or associate degree with relevant certification, and a valid driver’s license; BPI certification is preferred.

• High school or Associate’s degree with relevant industry certification/training preferred.
• Current or prior BPI certification.
• 21+ with a clean, valid driver’s license.

• Provide technical guidance on installation, configuration, or enhancements per client specs.

Job Description

This is a field based role around Southern New Jersey. A fleet vehicle will be provided. We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Residential Field Specialist. Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions. For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database). Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products. Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues. Travel throughout a defined territory.

Things you will have

• 2-4 years working as an Energy Auditor or related role
• High school or Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
• Current or Prior BPI certification
• 21+ with clean valid drivers license
• Target Compensation $29.00 - $36.00 depending on experience

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

Compensation Range

$28.20 - $42.20 Currency USD Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
