Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring an Energy Technician II to join our team and help reduce consumer energy bills. You will install energy-saving measures, perform minor repairs, help load and unload trucks, and ensure work meets program guidelines while keeping sites organized and safe.

The role involves hands-on field work, meeting safety requirements, and occasional travel to customer sites. Compensation is hourly and aligned with market norms, with comprehensive benefits available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Relevant industry or technical certification/training preferred
• Physical demands: stand/sit for extended periods, crawl/climb/bend, lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Responsibilities

• Installing energy savings measures including attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
• Performing minor repairs to include windows and doors
• Assisting with loading and unloading work trucks
• Ensuring measures installed are to program guidelines
• Assisting with keeping the job site organized and safe
• Assisting with customer site job set up and tear down

Education

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician II.

• Installing energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
• Performing minor repairs to include windows and doors
• Assisting with loading and unloading work trucks
• Ensuring measures installed are to program guidelines
• Assisting with keeping the job site organized and safe
• Assisting with customer site job set up and tear down

Physical Demands/Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Relevant industry or technical certification/training preferred
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently
• Use repetitive hand motion
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds frequently

Target Compensation

$22.50/hr

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass apost-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
