Job summary

CLEAResult in Scotrun, PA is seeking an entry-level Energy Technician to learn and install energy efficiency measures for residential customers. You will work with a team to improve home energy bills and gain hands-on field experience.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Training is provided and safety comes first.

Qualifications

• Able to install attic insulation, caulking and energy-saving measures.
• Able to perform minor repairs to windows/doors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters.
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors.
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks.
• Keep the job site organized and safe; assist with setup and teardown.

Job Description

Field based around the Scotrun, PA area. You will report daily to the warehouse location.

We are looking for an eager individual... To join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers.

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe
• Assist with job site set up and tear down

• Ability to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday
• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
• Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
• High School diploma and/or GED

$21.00

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range

$16.50 - $24.00
