North Shore Community College in Danvers, MA seeks an Energy Systems Manager to oversee EMS/BAS operations, connect energy meters, and analyze data to cut costs while maintaining occupant comfort.

The role manages building automation vendors, conducts field investigations, monitors solar arrays, and supports preventive maintenance and energy conservation initiatives to reduce emissions and improve efficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field with 1–3 years' experience or Associate's Degree in engineering sciences or related field with 4+ years' experience.
• Certified Energy Manager designation or other technical training will be considered in lieu of up to 2 years of experience or Associates degree.
• Extensive Knowledge of Energy Management Systems and Building Automation Systems; familiarity with Niagara 4, TacVista, and Allerton BAS.
• Knowledgeable in alternative energy practices, energy conservation, solar array systems, and demand response utility programs.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and operate the Energy Management Systems, troubleshoot EMS operating issues.
• Perform field investigations to ensure mechanical systems are operating properly with BAS sensors and actuators.
• Oversee building automation system vendors in collaboration with Director of Facilities.
• Monitor energy consumption to optimize efficiency and cost savings.
• Provide 24/7 emergency response for EMS/BAS systems when required.
• Review construction projects for energy conservation and OK with project teams.
