Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to lead energy-conservation projects across multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare. You will drive RCx activities, ensure high-quality execution, and mentor Technical Services staff with a focus on building automation and energy management.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and 7+ years in engineering design or retro-commissioning. A domicile in New York and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Possesses expert technical knowledge of the subject matter.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor others.
• Advanced ability to problem solve, analyze complex systems, and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Independently executes all technical design, pre-construction, and construction-phase engineering tasks.
• Leads site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements to complete the scope of work.
• Integrates energy conservation strategies for a unified energy management approach.
• Collaborates to ensure alignment with best practices, company standards, and codes.
• Advises the project team on technical and resource requirements to meet outcomes.
• Troubleshoots complex equipment and optimizes system upgrades.
• Identifies gaps in project execution and creates standards to solve issues.
• Develops new tools supporting project execution.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring within Technical Services.
• Develops training material for Technical Services teams and post-implementation operations training.
