Job summary

Renogy is seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer to support our Residential Energy Storage Systems (ESS) business. You will act as the technical expert for post-sales support, resolving complex field issues and enabling installers through training.

You will collaborate across installers, distributors, and customers with our Product, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to turn VOC feedback into product improvements and ensure successful deployment of Renogy energy storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0-3 years in technical support, field service, applications, test, or product/quality engineering preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales support via phone, email, remote diagnostics, and on-site visits for residential ESS products.
• Develop and deliver installation and troubleshooting training for installers and partners.
• Reproduce field issues in controlled environments and support product validation and firmware verification.
• Own RMA evaluation and resolution, coordinating with repair centers and internal teams to identify patterns and drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, FAQs, installation manuals, and service procedures to improve field installation quality.
• Collect and analyze VOC feedback from installers, distributors, and end users to prioritize field-driven product improvements with Product and Engineering.
