Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as a technical lead throughout the sales process in energy storage projects. The role requires understanding Fluence’s technology and providing support to sales teams while interacting with various internal groups.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, experience in energy storage or related fields, and strong communication skills. You’ll need to be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and may travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of work experience in energy storage, solar, or other power generation.
• Experience with contract negotiations and familiarity with key contract areas.
• Willing and able to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Fluence energy storage technology platforms.
• Lead technical aspects of contract negotiations – scope, schedule, and performance guarantees.
• Assist in the development of sales tools and support materials.
