Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

The Energy Storage Project Executive will provide leadership and oversight to multiple projects, coordinating with multiple departments in planning, organizing, and directing the project work across our team including engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Proven leadership ability to pull together remote teams into a high-performing project team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations.
• P6 scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make project level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Provide leadership and oversight of complex change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and/or regulating entities.
• Provide support to other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
• Support the development of standards and processes to improve the business.
• Able to perform all Project Manager’s responsibilities across scheduling, cost control, procurement, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with Owner, Engineer, and Subcontractors; build strong partnerships while ensuring rights per Prime Contract.
