Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.

The Energy Storage Project Executive will provide leadership and oversight to multiple projects, collaborating with engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations to drive profit and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct relevant industry experience with electrical equipment and installation preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Leadership ability to pull together diverse remote teams into a high-performing project team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others.
• Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in office practices, procedures and equipment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make executive decisions on cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Oversee change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Support other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members.
• Enforce SOLV standards and OSHA policies; promote company culture.
