Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Manager, Energy Project Development in San Jose, CA to evaluate, track, and advance long duration energy storage (LDES) deployment projects. You will coordinate with consultants, developers, and internal teams to move opportunities toward deployment readiness under senior leadership.

The role focuses on developing new and acquired projects, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining relationships with renewable developers, IPPs, and project owners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy project development (solar, wind, storage, or similar).
• Familiarity with permitting, interconnection, land/real estate, and offtake processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and counterparty relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to synthesize project details for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new and acquired projects—directly or via outsourced development support.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, engineers, and legal counsel.
• Track and manage project development budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
• Prepare documents and materials for leadership review and decisions.
• Apply project scoring frameworks to evaluate opportunities based on site quality and strategic fit.
• Manage NDA, MSA, and development activities with consultants.
• Maintain relationships with renewable developers, IPPs, and project owners for acquisition opportunities.
• Partner with Legal, Accounting, Interconnection, Engineering and Supply Chain to assess feasibility and integration for NTP.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status.
