Job summary

Antora Energy is seeking a Project Development Manager to orchestrate commercial projects from ideation to contract execution. You will lead a cross-functional team across engineering, business development, and finance, coordinating with landowners and local leaders to advance thermal energy storage projects.

The role is ideally based at our San Jose, CA HQ, with flexibility for Madrid or Sydney candidates, or remote in the U.S. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience leading large renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams to final investment decisions and contract execution.
• Strong track record in mitigating deal risks and de-risking workstreams.
• Skilled at building relationships with project stakeholders and community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones and accountability across commercial teams.
• Develop and manage commercial contracts and risk tracking tools for deal visibility.
• Bridge technical, language, cultural, and time-zone differences across global teams.
• Escalate deal risks and drive workstreams to mitigate them.
• Partner with legal and business development to de-risk land control and lease/easement agreements.
• Represent Antora to local leaders to obtain permits for projects.
