Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
5+ years in embedded DVT, verification, validation, or firmware test; 8+ years for Staff.
Strong Python and test automation experience.
Embedded Linux/RTOS and firmware integration experience.
Excellent understanding of hardware/software interfaces and debugging.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute DVT strategies, test plans, and automated test frameworks.
Validate embedded firmware, hardware, communications, and system functionality.
Build Python-based test automation and regression environments.
Work with interfaces including Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, SMBus, and industrial protocols.
Use oscilloscopes, power analysers, logic/protocol analysers, programmable supplies, and other lab equipment.
Troubleshoot complex hardware/firmware issues and drive root-cause resolution.
Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, systems, and quality teams.
Mentor engineers and contribute to verification strategy at Staff level.
