Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years in embedded DVT, verification, validation, or firmware test; 8+ years for Staff.
• Strong Python and test automation experience.
• Embedded Linux/RTOS and firmware integration experience.
• Excellent understanding of hardware/software interfaces and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVT strategies, test plans, and automated test frameworks.
• Validate embedded firmware, hardware, communications, and system functionality.
• Build Python-based test automation and regression environments.
• Work with interfaces including Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, SMBus, and industrial protocols.
• Use oscilloscopes, power analysers, logic/protocol analysers, programmable supplies, and other lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/firmware issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, systems, and quality teams.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to verification strategy at Staff level.

A growing clean-energy technology company is seeking a Senior to Staff DVT Engineer to support the development and validation of next-generation energy storage and power electronics products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVT strategies, test plans, and automated test frameworks.
• Validate embedded firmware, hardware, communications, and system functionality.
• Build Python-based test automation and regression environments.
