Form Energy in the United States is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to join our Test Engineering team. You will design, develop, and implement test strategies to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our energy storage products, working closely with design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years in Test Engineering.
• Strong data-driven testing background and ability to translate results into engineering insights.
• Experience partnering with Design Engineering to influence hardware concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and own test strategies for component, subsystem, and system-level testing.
• Design complex electromechanical test systems and high-voltage architectures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in test stands across purposes.
• Identify and fix deficiencies in test architecture and processes.
• Advise on data acquisition systems and test sensors selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test cases and procedures.
• Analyze large test datasets to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Prepare detailed test reports with conclusions and design recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.
